About Wright Family and Company
Please sign in to see more.
The Wright family is the hub of a wider group of many lovely people. With these lovely folks there are names such as: Wolfe, Fisher, Young, Robinson, Fye, Hutton, Forde, Morrison Burnette, and the list goes on and on and on...... As we grew, we inherited various parts of the earth such as Jamaica, New York-USA, Canada, England, Maryland-USA, California-USA, New Jersey-USA, Florida-USA, Connecticut-USA, and just like the people-names, the place names go on and on.

Egbert Wright, (August 6, 1920 - April 11, 2018), husband of the late Enid (Morrison)Wright (March 13, 1926-Sept. 8, 2008), was born to Jonathan and Margaret Wright in Facey-St.
Catherine, Jamaica. But wait a minute! Did you know that prior to being married to Jonathan Wright (Papa's dad), Margaret (Muum) was married to one Mr. Jonathan White? Yup! And from that marriage was Judith, William, Aston and Ivy White, all (all deceased). Some of us Baby Boomers remember Aunt Ivy really well and can tell a few hillarious stories about her. Just ask us. Some of us have fond memories of Spanish Town, Jamaica since there is where quite a few of us spent our formative years. But the most eventful era and hometown was Washington Gardens, in Kingston. Boy, if that neighborhood could talk! I am sure that we 'boomers' can come up with some great memories of small days to share with the next generation. Hence I invite and encourage you to make use of the "Event" section of your page to share a cherished family memory or two.

As this project remains in an ever-evolving stage, I invite you to assist in making sure that your pictures and facts are updated, as much as possible. Oh, by the way, please give a round of applause to our beloved Sophia who shares the vision and has been very instrumental in uploading much of the pictures. As you visit, don't forget to sign the guestbook before you leave. Thanks.
More to come........ -Winsome

The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.

In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool.
